Runtime Error 339

I have used SE ADWARE and System Mechanic 6 Professional to clean my hard drives, and both of these detect and delete a parasite known as a KeySnatch. After its removal, CFP will not work and a Runtime error 339 appears. This parasite aka SSSPLT30.OCX resides in C:/Windows/System32. What is it's function? Is it necessary? It is a pain in the neck! Any hints pls...

SSSPLT30.OCX is Sheridan Software Splitter. It is essential to the main display of the Command Flight Planner and is not a trojan or key logger.
